The Company does not sell or otherwise disclose this personal information for monetary consideration or for a business purpose to any third parties, other than those necessary to the Company’s recruitment and hiring activities.

What Categories of Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use This Information?

LGI Homes maintains categories of information of job applicants, including:

  • Personal information such as name, address, email address, birthday, telephone number, personal and professional goals, vehicle information;
  • Sensitive personal information such as driver's license number and social security number and;
  • Recruiting and Selection Information such as employment and education history, comprehensive interview worksheet, references provided to the Company during the application process, DISC profile, Recruit and Select Activity Workbook, resume, background check information acknowledgment forms, and any other applicable employment agreement(s).

What Does The Company Do With Your Information?

The Company uses this information to manage job applications, schedule and conduct interviews, review, assess and verify information provided, to conduct background checks, and to otherwise screen or evaluate applicant qualifications, suitability and relevant characteristics. The Company may also use the information to negotiate terms of employment offers, assess salary and compensation matters, extend offers of employment and comply with applicable legal requirements. We do not collect additional categories of personal information for materially different, unrelated or incompatible purposes with which you have agreed without providing you notice. Your personal information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal laws and to support any offers of employment extended.
